The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 combines a ample twelve megapixel CCD imager again a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon-branded 5x optical outstrip lens with a better-than-average 35 - 175mm picture focal range. The EasyShare Z1275 also offers enhanced movie functionality, capturing HD (1280 720) at 30 fps, VGA (640 480) at 30 fps and QVGA (320 240) clips at 30 fps. Movies are encoded in QuickTime MPEG4 format, and zoom is supported.
Images further movies captured on the Kodak Z1275 are transferred to your computer whereas a USB 2.0 Full Speed connection, rather slower than the USB 2.0 High Speed command offered on rife cameras these days. Power comes from two AA batteries (NiMH, Lithium, or Oxy-Alkaline). The Z1275 ships with disposable Oxy-Alkaline batteries besides no charger is included grease the bundle.
